The Grammy Museum is set to make history with its first full-floor K-pop exhibit, showcasing the music, culture, technology, fandom, and business behind Korean pop music. Partnering with Hybe, the entertainment company behind global sensation BTS, the exhibit will provide a deep dive into the evolution of K-pop.
Titled “Hybe: We Believe In Music, A Grammy Museum Exhibit,” the showcase will run from August 2 to September 15 in downtown Los Angeles. Featuring never-before-displayed artifacts from 78 K-pop stars, including iconic outfits from music videos and concept photos, the exhibit will offer a unique insight into the world of K-pop.
From BTS to rookie groups like Boynextdoor and Illit, the exhibit will highlight the impact of Hybe on the music industry. With interactive experiences like a “random dance play” and a Photoism booth, attendees can immerse themselves in the world of K-pop and leave their mark on the exhibit.
Grammy Museum President and CEO, Michael Sticka, describes the exhibit as one of the largest curated by the museum, celebrating Hybe’s innovation and influence in the music world. Hybe COO Tae-Ho Kim hopes the exhibit will introduce American music fans to their roster of artists and pave the way for their entrance into the American music market.
With a focus on showcasing the journey of Hybe in the global music industry, the exhibit promises to be a must-see for K-pop and Hybe superfans alike. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience the biggest and most in-depth K-pop exhibit ever curated by the Grammy Museum.
