Ohio State Buckeyes Prepare for Big Recruiting Weekend

The Ohio State Buckeyes are gearing up for another exciting weekend as they welcome in multiple verbal commits and potential future players. One of the highlights of the weekend will be the official visit of Nathaniel Owusu-Boateng, the brother of NFL linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah.

Owusu-Boateng, a four-star linebacker from IMG Academy, is ranked as the No. 75 overall player in the class of 2025 and the No. 9 linebacker. The Buckeyes are in fierce competition with Notre Dame, Michigan, and USC to secure his commitment, with Notre Dame currently considered the front runner.

This weekend marks Owusu-Boateng’s third official visit, following trips to USC and Notre Dame. After his visit to Columbus, he will head to Michigan for another visit. Standing at 6 feet tall and weighing 200 pounds, Owusu-Boateng is known for his speed and agility on the field.

Ohio State already has a strong linebacker commitment in Tarvos Alford, and adding Owusu-Boateng to the roster would be a significant boost for the team. The Buckeyes are looking to add multiple linebackers in this recruiting class, and landing a top-10 player like Owusu-Boateng would be a major win.

With a talented group of commits already in place for the 2025 season, including quarterback Tavien St. Clair and cornerback Devin Sanchez, the Buckeyes are poised for success in the coming years. Stay tuned for updates on Owusu-Boateng’s recruitment and other exciting developments for Ohio State football.
