The 48th St. Patrick’s Day Parade in D.C. Shines in Sunny Weather

Overall, the 48th St. Patrick’s Day Parade in D.C. was a festive event filled with Irish American participants, sunny weather, and plenty of green attire. The Grand Marshal, NBC 4’s Pat Collins, led the parade down Constitution Avenue Northwest, showcasing DC Irish culture. Attendees like Elizabeth and Bill Lenenyk celebrated their Irish heritage and enjoyed the springtime tradition. However, some, like Chicago native Mark Walsh, found the parade to be lacking in rowdiness compared to those in Chicago. Despite differing opinions, it was clear that the luck of the Irish was present at this year’s parade.
