Vegan Activist Tash Peterson’s OnlyFans Earnings Exposed in Defamation Court Case
The recent defamation court case against vegan activist Tash Peterson has brought to light the staggering amount of money she earns from her OnlyFans account. According to reports from the WA Supreme Court, Peterson is among the top 4% of earners on the platform, raking in over $400,000 in the 2021-2022 financial year.
However, despite her substantial earnings, Peterson only declared $70,000 in business earnings to the Australian Tax Office. During the court proceedings, it was revealed that Peterson could only point to one $100 donation to an animal charity on her bank statements.
The court case stems from a video posted by Peterson and her boyfriend, Jack Higgs, accusing the owners of Bicton Veterinary Clinic of promoting ‘animal slavery’. The owners of the clinic, Dr. Kay McIntosh and her husband Andrew, claim that the video damaged their reputation and was created by Peterson and Higgs to gain publicity and make money.
The court also heard that V-Gan Booty, Peterson’s company, submitted a tax return for $267,000 for the same financial year, leaving around $130,000 unaccounted for. The company was set up on the advice of Peterson’s accountant due to the significant earnings from her OnlyFans account.
Despite the financial revelations, Peterson maintains that the increase in subscribers to her OnlyFans account was due to a video posted on YouTube, rather than her high-profile vegan stunts. The case continues in the WA Supreme Court as more details about Peterson’s financial affairs come to light.
