Jamie Chadwick Secures Pole Position for Indy NXT Race at Road America on Sunday

Jamie Chadwick has made history once again, securing her maiden pole position in the Indy NXT series at Road America. The British driver is just the third woman to achieve this feat, adding to her impressive resume as the UK’s most decorated active female motorsport driver.

Chadwick’s success comes after she became the first woman to stand on the podium in Indy NXT last month, finishing in third place at Indianapolis. Now, she is aiming for the top step of the podium in Sunday’s 20-lap race, which will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Mix at 6.05pm.

“I’m so happy. We struggled a little bit this weekend chasing balance. When [team-mate] Louis [Foster] did the lap he did, I knew we would have a good car,” said Chadwick. “It’s going to be a tough race, but I’m confident in what we can do.”

In addition to her racing success, Chadwick has also launched a new initiative to increase female participation in grassroots motorsport. Partnering with Daytona Motorsport, she is providing free karting and mentorship for girls in an effort to inspire the next generation of female drivers.

Fans can tune in to Sky Sports Mix for the live broadcast of the Indy NXT race at Road America, followed by the IndyCar race at 8.30pm. With Chadwick leading the pack, it promises to be an exciting day of racing for viewers.
